The house easily sleeps eight adults or one or two families

There are four spacious double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor is an open space with a seating area with a new wood-burning stove, a long wooden farmer-style table for leisurely dinners, a well-equipped open kitchen, and a separate office area with two desks.

The mezzanine houses a cosy place to hang out, with Fatboys and a television. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer all-round views on the stunning garden and allow in plenty of light. On the sunny terrace you can lounge, barbecue, eat and enjoy all the flowering shrubs and plants. At the back of the garden, you will find a trampoline for the kids.

This authentic Breton house that sleeps eight is located on a quiet road in the village of Ploubazlanec, between the port of Paimpol and l 'Arcouest, where the ferry to Île de Bréhat, the flower island, leaves. In the morning, take a gentle stroll to the bakery for fresh croissants, a baguette and a delicious Kouign-Amann.

Bienvenue en Bretagne

The Côte d'Armor is the perfect destination for lovers of formidable coastlines, good food and a lots of new impressions.

The village of Ploubazlanec is only two kilometres from Paimpol, the harbour town of the Côte de Goëllo (which runs from Saint-Brieuc to beyond Plougrescant). This is where the fishermen left from for Iceland in the late 19th and early 20th century. The story goes that at least 2,000 men never returned from the sea, forcing the women to take the helm.

References to the fishing past can still be found throughout the region. Nowadays there is still plenty of fishing, and the region is best known for its oysters, crabs, lobsters and scallops.
